Not everyone finished at the same time. The decorations were done when the last pies were in the oven, but the kitchen wasn't cleaned yet. Edith and I helped with that, while Billy and Mindy were gone, most like to her room to reconnect.
I was still cold, so I stayed dressed, but my father's clothes almost went flying.
It was a little chaotic as people from the resort, arrived, not always individually, to pick up their pies, often leaving a tip or some baked goods for Clara. She would first refuse, but eventually would be encouraged to accept it.
One of the bake goods was thrown in the garbage can as soon as the client left. I asked why, and she replied that now everyone follows food safety precautions, and she learned her lesson two years ago.
I didn't ask, and I didn't want to know.
Still, she put a bowl with homemade chips, which is something I had never tasted. They were still warm from being made and everyone loved them.
As an adult, I decided I would make some, saw the procedure, and gave up. It's not like kettle cooked chips are that expensive at the store, and well, I have other food I prefer making.
Like Clara's couscous. Seriously, it's that good. If even has chicken bits in it. It's like, a mean in itself. It's so good, and can be made in such a big batch, that I took Clara's business plan for her pies for the couscous!
I found reusable plastic containers. They were about a dollar each. They could store, like, 3 portions. If you came and bought from me, it was $7. For three portions, it's not bad. If you brought back the container, clean, the next time, you get a $1 rebate. I had limited spots available, and once I was filled with regulars, tips would put you ahead of the queue. I did it twice per week, but not everyone bought each time.
I didn't make a killing, but I kept 3 of those containers for my own consumption, paid from the revenues, and got not only my ingredients paid, but also most of my other food for the week.
Two of the pick-ups, however, were done at the same time, by Lucy and Clark for their parents.
Now, you have to understand something. I had only seen Lucy at the resort at that time. She did leave and return while I was there, but wearing clothes. I think once I had seen her put on a long bathrobe for the cold, and perhaps once she was wearing a light link and gray jogging suit. But I hadn't seen her fully clothed, like when she goes to the mall or something.
When she came, she saluted me, but I a frozen in place. It's Mindy who reminded her that we would watch the Mummy in the afternoon.
Of course, Mindy has seen Lucy all dressed up, but I hadn't.
Lucy the nudist was my friend, she was approachable, nice and down to earth. But this textile girl was overwhelming.
She wore light pink jeggings with cute red hearts on it. Her shoes weren't white running shoes, but rather pink suede ones that you just put on without laces. She does have socks in it, but they are cool pink ones with dog heads on.
Her top, is multilayered. She had a tight pink blouse, which seems not to have elbows, but put above is a darker pink tank top with white polka dots which sort of highlights her breasts. Floating around her is a pink jacket, unbuttoned, and which has shorter sleeves that show that her pink blouse has cute frilly cuffs. In her hair, is a pink headband which keeps her hair from being wild, and she has two pigtails held by pink scrunchies.
When nude, Lucy's body is clearly that of a woman, but when dressed up, she screams her femininity.
I will shock you, this was not a formative moment in my life! I can't dress up like that. I might have the body for it, but I don't have the soft personality that Lucy has to pull it off.
Clark was relaying messages to Clara and Lucy was sort of discreet, so she came to see me, and ask me.
"Are you okay, Ji?"
"It's so pretty what you are wearing"
"Oh this? Don't get used to it. This afternoon, for the movie, I don't plan to wear it. This was.... Clark insisted", she said, rolling her eyes a little.
And she, she was smiling. Was this a look she likes, but doesn't want to admit it to anyone? Or was it because she wanted to show to me how dedicated to naturism she was? I didn't know then, and It's not like I know now.
They were gone soon enough.
When the last pie was picked up, always by people dressed, it was time to lunch. We had hot dogs, but of course, we had delicious pumpkin pie for dessert.
James and Billy went to the dinner to eat, as he didn't want to impose too much, and I could tell that Clara was a little relieved. I don't know why. Did she simply cook too much? Did he impose himself too often?
I was starting to feel overwhelmed, and I slept well.
I again helped with the dishes with Edith, while Mindy was happy that Billy was back. They shared a pumpkin pie piece together, with Mindy only taking two bites.
By the time we were ready for the movie, Lucy and Clark were back, clothed, but they didn't undress in front of everyone. They did so in Mindy's bedroom. Lucy even undid her hair.
Clara was tired. She was almost falling asleep, but she wanted to watch the movie, pushing herself.
This, however, created a side effect that six people didn't mind at all.
Mindy and Billy were the first to get closer than Clara would have normally allowed, due to the cramped space in front of the television.
The four youngest of were sent on a sheet, on the floor. My parents got the three seat couch with James, and Lucy and Clark the two seat one. The hosts, Peter and Clara each grabbed a chair from the dining room, and sat next to each other, between the two couches.
Mindy and Billy were the first to get closer, about 5 minutes into the movie. Nothing bad, just, more than what Clara normally tolerates. Clark cuddled Lucy about 10 minutes later. To my surprise. My parents did the same a few minutes later.
Now, only bad, just what textile couples watching the television normally do. Just what my naturist parents watching television at home, even when nude, normally do. But Clara, is a lot more puritan normally, but that day, she was fully concentrated on the movie.
I didn't mind, and the only reason I knew, is that I sort of felt overwhelmed form the morning, and looked around to see if others felt like me.
I did notice the body painting from anck su namun, well, tattoos in her case, but I thought that Evelyn, the lead female character, was a much more interesting character. Today, I find it funny that all the guy had a crush on anck su namun, knowing that she also played Marta in Arrested Development. Not that I had watched that show then, I would only see it in college, with my ex. They were big fans, and shocked I hadn't seen it.
Now I know why I identified more with Evelyn, but back then, I just liked the character. The story was nice, it had a lot of action and a lot of comedy, so I could easily see why it could be someone's favorite movie. Jonathan is also a character I liked. I could imagine why the girls would have a crush on Rick, the main character, but I didn't see it. I thought the evil guy, Imhotep, was more interesting, but still not in a desire way. More like, I enjoyed how much in love with anck su namun he was.
It bothered me, my brain was starting to react to the pill, I was calmer, felt more mature, but I still didn't have any attraction to anyone.
Lucy had a boyfriend, Mindy had a boyfriend, and Edith openly talked about boys she liked. And don't think it's just because I am younger.
They all felt attraction before my current age.
The action in the movie really picked up near the end, and I have to admit it, it was outstanding.
When the credits rolled, all three couples sort of softly separated, Mindy mostly like out of fear her mother would snap out of her trance, Lucy and Clark out of respect for the host, and my parents perhaps out of shame? No, they only cuddle while whatever is playing. The worst, is that both Clara and my mother were dressed up, so it's not like my parents did anything wrong. Well, I don't think Lucy, Clark, Mindy and Billy did anything wrong either, but Clara usually thinks so.
The movie stopped, but not the movie event. People began talking about their favorite moments. Edith and Mindy launched a debate on a plot hole I completely forgot about and which Clark joined with ease.
The adults mostly retreated to the kitchen and were talking about whatever interested them, but I could see Clara being rather tired.
She made a lot of money with her pies, but at the cost of spending quality time with her family.
Lucy seemed as bored as I was and left for Mindy's room without Clark realizing it. When she came back, she was not only fully dressed, but her pigtails were back in place with the headband, as flawless as she had been when arriving. She was also holding Clark's clothes in her hands.
"We have an appointment with my family, Clark, and it's cold outside", she said, with an exasperated tone.
"Oh, sorry", he says, grabbing the bundle of clothes.
"Boys, you have to always watch over them," she told us.
"I heard that"
"I made sure you did", says Lucy, but then, she winked at me. Why? I don't know. I was burned out for some reason.
Mindy and Billy went to the kitchen for something to drink, and Lucy motioned me to get closer to her.
She whispered in my ear.
"Ji, do you know what's happening to you and me?"
"We are tired?"
"No, we are in introverted burn out. We socialized too much and didn't get me time. We don't have an appointment, I am going to work on my 3rd novella to unwind so I can be friendly tonight. I think you are at the same point I am. Find a way to recharge"
I looked at her. "Thanks"
"Hey, I've been there, not realizing what was happening."
Clark comes back, and they leave, with him saying goodbye to everyone, but Lucy only thanking Clara.
Was Clara also in an introversion burnout? No, she was mainly tired.
Mindy, Billy and Edith wanted to play Mario Kart, but I took Lucy's suggestion.
"Do you mind if I rest in your room a little, Mindy?"
"Not at all!"
Edith asked if I was ok, and I confirmed I was just a little tired. But I think she knew it was more than that. Maybe she heard what Lucy told me, or worse, she didn't and worry about what the girl told me.
I couldn't deal with Edith in front of Mindy, so I just went into her room.
